Community Commitment at California Energy Consultant Service

Our Mission to Give Back
For more than 40 years, California Energy Consultant Service has been deeply rooted in the Orangevale and greater Sacramento community, serving not only as an exterior home improvement provider but as a committed local partner. From our earliest days, our team believed that improving homes should go hand in hand with strengthening the neighborhoods where we live and work. That philosophy continues to shape every program, partnership, and volunteer effort we take on today.
Our mission to give back is not seasonal or symbolic. It is woven into how we operate, how our staff engages with the community, and how we measure our long-term success.

How We Support Our Community
Community involvement at CECS goes far beyond individual acts of service. We maintain ongoing initiatives focused on providing real home-improvement solutions to people who need them most. These programs are powered by our own team members, who donate time, expertise, and leadership to ensure lasting impact.
California Energy Consultant Service coordinates full-home upgrades for veterans and military families facing housing challenges.
The CECS team partners with local nonprofits and associations to complete community-focused improvement projects.
Our employees regularly volunteer their professional skills at community builds and outreach events in the Sacramento area.
The company offers sponsorships and resources to causes that align with our commitment to safety, housing stability, and energy efficiency.
Every initiative is approached with care, professionalism, and a desire to create meaningful results. Our staff is hands-on throughout the process, ensuring that each project reflects the same standards we bring to our customer work. This commitment has allowed our community programs to grow steadily over the years.
Windows for Warriors
Windows for Warriors is one of CECS’s flagship community programs, created to support local veterans and military families by improving the safety, comfort, and energy efficiency of their homes. This initiative recognizes that many service members return home to aging properties that are costly to maintain and difficult to heat or cool. Through coordinated nominations and volunteer installation efforts, CECS provides complete window replacement projects at no cost to qualifying recipients.
Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving veterans or military families through the Windows for Warriors program page. Volunteers and local partners also play an important role in expanding the reach of this initiative. Each project not only improves a home but also helps restore stability and peace of mind for the family that receives it.
Siding for Soldiers
Siding for Soldiers is another cornerstone of CECS’s community involvement, focusing on providing durable, energy-efficient siding upgrades to veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Many of the homes assisted through this program face structural issues that compromise comfort and safety. CECS works alongside trusted community partners to identify recipients and deliver full siding installations designed for long-term performance. These projects are more than exterior improvements. They offer families renewed confidence in their home and protection they can rely on for years to come.Â
Partnering with Local Organizations
Giving back is most effective when it is done together. CECS actively collaborates with nonprofit groups, veteran service organizations, and community associations throughout Orangevale and Northern California. These partnerships allow us to reach families who may otherwise go unnoticed and align our efforts with trusted local changemakers.
California Energy Consultant Service works with veteran service organizations to identify candidates for Windows for Warriors and Siding for Soldiers.
Our team sponsors and participates in local events focused on housing stability, safety, and community well-being.
CECS organizes groups of employee volunteers to support seasonal community projects in the Sacramento area.
We regularly contribute to local drives and fundraising efforts that support housing and home-improvement causes.
Through these relationships, our impact continues to grow year after year. Each new collaboration strengthens our ability to serve the region more effectively.

Stories of Impact
Behind every community project is a family whose life has been meaningfully improved. One local veteran was nominated for Windows for Warriors after struggling with deteriorating windows that drove up utility costs and left the home uncomfortable year-round. Following the installation, the family immediately experienced lower energy bills and a safer living environment.
Another recent Siding for Soldiers project helped a Sacramento-area military family replace failing exterior materials that had become a safety concern. The completed upgrade restored both the home’s appearance and its long-term durability. These stories reflect the true value of CECS’s community mission.
Our Ongoing Commitment
California Energy Consultant Service is committed to expanding its community involvement as local needs evolve. This includes exploring new partnerships, listening to feedback from residents, and developing innovative ways to support those who need help most. Our team remains open to new ideas that align with our core values of energy efficiency, integrity, and service.
We believe that meaningful community support is not a one-time effort but an ongoing responsibility. Each year, we strive to strengthen our programs and deepen our impact throughout the Sacramento region.
